Landmark MN | Stone Arch Bridge

The Stone Arch Bridge, which spans the Mississippi River, offers a panoramic view of St Anthony Falls.  The bridge was built in 1883 by James J. Hill’s Great Northern Railroad. It carried two tracks into downtown Minneapolis and at its peak brought 80 passenger trains a day into Union Station.  It is recognized as a National Civil Engineering Landmark.
